Performances in the Park is an annual summer event that gives artists their opportunity to entertain Lake City residents in an outdoor setting.
With today being the last day to submit applications to be a part of it, we asked Organizer Angela Sommer how many she has collected so far.
“I have received twenty-nine applications to date, mostly from out of town and I’m really looking to have a few more local performers apply for the series. I’m actually surprised how few have put in their name and many people really like the local performers”.
If more local applications are not received by today Sommer says that she would extend the deadline.

Performances in the Park starts July 6th and runs every thursday night til August 24th in Boitanio Park.
