South Cariboo Voters To Go To The Polls

It looks like there will be a by-election to fill the vacant seat for 100 Mile House on the Cariboo/Chilcotin School Board.

The official notice of election will go out today (Feb 27) at 4 o’clock but as it stands, the nomination period has now closed, and the names of Cameron Jensen and Willow MacDonald will appear on the ballot.

One of them will replace Chris Pettman, who resigned back in December.

A by-election is now set for March 25th.

Advance voting will take place on the 15th in District Chambers between 8 am and 8 pm.

Mail-in ballots will also be available by application for those who can’t make either date.
