Break and Enters Target Businesses

Broken glass littered the sidewalk Thursday morning in front of the Williams Lake Chiropractic Associates and Health Clinic which was the latest target of a break and enter.

Rachel Venos, MOA for Dr. Steyl says she was very angry and sad of the senseless incident.

“It completely ruined the day because I have to phone all of the patients, reschedule. There’s people that need care and we can’t provide it, we can’t provide our service because someone took it upon themselves to vandalize our office.”

Venos says nothing like this has happened before.

“Whoever broke in, they broke the window with a rock, came in and damaged my computer, broke a brand new Dell monitor, wrecked my phone…They’ve just created a really big mess that we’ve been working diligently since 8:00 this morning to clean up. Thankfully they didn’t steal anything that we can tell at this point.”

Williams Lake RCMP say three other businesses were also targeted in the latest rash of break and enters-McLeese Lake General Store, Mountview Handimart, and the Chilcotin Handi Mart.

Police continue to investigate.
