New BCCOs to Start New Roles Across the Province

Nine new Conservation Officers will be starting their new roles across the province after graduating from the Western Conservation Law Enforcement Academy on February 16, 2017.

The nine new officers will be posted to the following locations across B.C:

  • Vanderhoof
  • Mackenzie
  • Fort Nelson
  • Smithers and Dease Lake
  • Burns Lake
  • Terrace
  • Surrey
  • Sechelt
  • Prince George MIU

There are currently no vacancies in the Cariboo region.

“All field officer and Sgt positions in the Cariboo-Chilcotin zone are fully staffed,” a spokesperson for the Ministry of Environment said in an email.
