2017 Walk For ALS in Williams Lake is a go ahead

After much worry about it having to be canceled, the 2017 Walk for ALS in Williams Lake has received the green light.
Wendy Toyer is the executive director for the ALS Society of BC.

“It’s 100% for sure, the Williams Lake for ALS will take place…Right now we are looking for a coordinator, but we’ve been able to form a group of volunteers to work with staff at ALS BC to ensure that the walk is going to continue on this year.”

The Walk for ALS in Williams Lake is one of fifteen events this year taking place at locations across the province and the Yukon.

It’s scheduled to take place on June 24 at Boitanio Park.
