The recent snow melt will be keeping city crews in Williams Lake busy as they prepare to start spring cleaning.
Gary Muraca is the Director of Municipal Services.
“We’re going to start with the sidewalks next week and then we’ll start picking up the dirt in the parking lanes as well we’re going to get out and get some of these potholes that came up with this melt as well.”
Muraca says the recent warmer than usual temperatures had resulted in localized flooding around catch basins.
He says crews had responded to less than 10 reports of flooding.
