Kangaroos host Stamps in CIHL Playoffs

The second season is about to begin for two longtime Cariboo rivals.

Game one in the best of three CIHL playoffs gets underway tonight when the Quesnel Kangaroos host the Williams Lake Stampeders.

“We need a quick start,” says Stamps bench boss Dave Lauzon. “That’s the only thing that we were lacking the last couple of times out on the ice. We need 60 minutes-we can’t just play the last 45 minutes in this league and expect to win.”

Puck drops at 7:30 at the Quesnel Twin Ice Arenas with games two and three, if necessary in Williams Lake next weekend.
