BC paramedics will be looking for the public’s help in Quesnel on Sunday.
Fritz Wyssen, a registered volunteer canvasser, will be at Granville’s from 10 am to 4 pm.
Here he explains why…
“To move the ambulance service paramedics and dispatchers from the Facilities Bargaining Association, which is not deemed essential, into the Fire and Police Service collective bargaining unit and this will enable the paramedics to be deemed as an essential service.”
Wyssen says that initiative act petition will then go to Elections BC once they’ve signed up 10 percent of the registered voters in the province.
From there it would go to the Provincial Government.
Petitions will be collected in Williams Lake at Save On Foods on Monday afternoon from 3 until 6.
