Plans for the upcoming 91st annual Williams Lake Stampede are well underway.
Tim Rolph is the President.
“So we’ve got our entertainment lined up. This year we’ve got Niki Flundra coming out and Niki does an amazing horse act. We’ve got our bands lined up for the Let ‘R Buck stage and beer gardens.”
Rolph says that country artist Karen Lee Batten will be coming back again this year, and that they will also be bringing in Garrett Gregory from Hanna, Alberta
Rolph adds that they’ll paying a tribute to Canada’s 150th birthday as well.
“We’re working on getting some local entertainment that will performing Saturday on our stage and that will tie in with Canada’s 150th. There’s a lot going on in the community that day so we’re going to participate along with everything else that’s going on.”
The Williams Lake Stampede runs from June 29-July 2,2017.
