Hoyer to Compete in X Games on Friday

A Williams Lake product will be competing at the 2017 Aspen X Games this week.

Debbie Hoyer says she could not be any more prouder of her son, Brock.

“Well it’s getting a little more exciting as it gets closer. It’s starting to sink more.”

Debbie says that Brock is currently practicing and acclimatizing himself in Leadville, Colorado as Aspen is 7900 ft in elevation compared to Williams Lake at only 2800 ft.

She adds that she has asked Boston Pizza to stream the games in which at 2:30pm-(Mountain Time) on Friday Brock will be competing in the Snow Bike Cross Final.

Hoyer was one of six snow bike athletes invited to by the X Games to compete.
