An incident that resulted in an employee of the Mt. Timothy Ski Area being transferred to hospital with injuries has Work Safe BC investigating.
Government and media relations officer for Work Safe BC, Erica Simpson says that they received notification of the incident Wednesday afternoon, and that preliminary information indicates that the worker was injured while working on a conveyor surface lift.
“WorksafeBC has an officer at the work site inspecting and an inspection report will be available in the coming days,” Simpson says.
The upper magic carpet according to Mt. Timonthy’s Facebook page will be closed until further notice.
