Charred rubble is all that remains of two vacant buildings of the Williams Inn after the Williams Lake Fire Department was called out to the scene of a blaze this morning at 3:45.
With firefighters remaining at the scene into the daylight, the flames destroyed one building leaving the second one half destroyed.
Although the cause of the fire is yet unknown, the Fire Department says the fire is deemed suspicious as neither of the buildings had power or gas services.
A section of the Williams Inn was destroyed by fire back in 2012.
The owner of Diamonds and Dust Entertainment Lounge that is located where the former Williams Inn Lobby was and in front of where the fire occurred says her business was unaffected by the fire and will be continuing their business hours as usual.
