Santa’s little helpers, also known as Quesnel Good Cheer, are hard at work today.
Dianne Greenwood, the longtime Coordinator, says they have been packing hampers that will go out this weekend…
“The hampers are ready for pickup on the 17th and 18th. Those with numbers 001 to 400 pick up on the Saturday and 401 to whatever picks up on the Sunday from 10 til 4.”
Quesnel Good Cheer handed out 829 hampers last year and had a grocery bill of more than 56 thousand dollars.
Greenwood expects both of those numbers to go up this year.
