RCMP in 100 Mile House were recently called to a report of a vehicle collision on HWY 24 near Lac De Roches.
Upon attendance a vehicle was found on an embankment with no one present near the crash.
Once an assessment was done on the vehicle it was found to have been stolen from Little Fort earlier that day.
The police received some information from the public regarding the incident and shortly after the 25 year old male driver of the vehicle was found at a residence nearby and arrested for possession of stolen property.
The male, a resident of Clinton was held in custody and will appear in court in Williams Lake on December 14th.
Charges of possession of stolen property, possession of break in instruments and several counts of breach of probation conditions have been proposed.
