Quesnel Residents Come Through

Mission accomplished.

The deadline to match an anonymous donors possible contribution to the Quesnel Community Foundation has come and gone and President Bob Lebeck says he has some good news…

“Our whole camp is excited right now because the matching grant was 50 thousand dollars, would matched the first 50 thousand dollars that we got in, and we have this week achieved that. So we’re sitting at about 60 and it’s still coming in…just because we’ve made the grant doesn’t mean that contributions to the endowment aren’t coming in.”

The deadline to match was on Saturday. (Dec 10)

Lebeck says this new total will boost the endowment past the 2.2 million dollar mark.

It is the earnings from that figure will be granted out into the community to various groups.
