Quesnel RCMP are looking for a male suspect following a robbery at Aroma Foods in West Quesnel last night. (Dec 6)
Seargant Chris RIddle says the call came in at 9-41 p.m.
He says a lone male entered the business wearing a dark colored puffy jacket, dark pants and a red and white bandana to cover his mouth and lower face.
Riddle says he allegedly selected an item from the shelf and approached the cashier to pay for the item.
He says when the cashier opened the till to provide change, the man then threatened the cashier and reached into the cash register and stole a small amount of cash before fleeing the scene on foot.
No one was hurt.
The suspect is described as a First Nations male who is about 5 feet 10 or 5 feet 11 inches tall with brown eyes and a deep voice.
Riddle says they are reviewing video surveillance and may provide a picture later on.
