even old man winter couldn’t stop yesterdays williams lake child development centre’s christmas wish breakfast

There was a lot of warmth inside the Ramada Convention Centre in the Lake City yesterday morning.

The 11th Annual Williams Lake Child Development Centre’s Christmas Wish Breakfast saw a steady stream of hearty souls braving the frigid temperatures to stop in and help out.

Vanessa Riplinger is the Operations Manager at the C-D-C expresses why she thinks it was well attended despite the weather.

“Every time people come they love it and it was a great event. We still had a lot of people come through the doors and we had sittings  of 100 people at a time so it was wonderful. At 7 o’clock we were packed all the way up until 9:30”.

When the breakfast and the final count was done Riplinger said they received 641 toys and Five Thousand dollars to buy more toys.
