Structure Fire kept crews busy in Forest Grove this morning

A mobile home fire in Forest Grove kept firefighters in the South Cariboo busy this morning.

Roger Hollander, Fire Chief at 100 Mile House Fire Rescue gives us the details.

“So 100 Mile House Fire Rescue responded to 4475 Canim-Hendrix Lake Road for a structure fire. We assisted Forest Grove Department in that structure fire.”

Hollander says that when they arrived on scene at just before 9am this morning (Tuesday Dec.6) Forest Grove Fire Department and RCMP were already on site and relayed information that both occupants of the mobile home made it out safely.

The fire was extinguished and contained to the homes property and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
