The numbers were up slightly for Operation Red Nose this past weekend in Williams Lake.
Dave Dickson, Manager of Community Safety for the City of Williams Lake says that’s about average.
“ Friday night we had 23 rides, that’s about average over the years, 49 passengers. Then the next night, Saturday night when the snow came we did 39 rides which is about average, last year we were about 35”.
Dickson also said that historically the third saturday for Operation Red Nose is usually their busiest.
Williams Lake motorist can call 250-392-22-22 for safe rides home for them and their vehicles this Saturday and Sunday between 9pm and 3am.
