Three people were injured in a single vehicle accident on Highway 97 north of 100 Mile House on Saturday. (Dec 3)
Corporal Brian Lamb says it happened near Wright Station Road.
But as Lamb explains the accident was only part of the story…
“Upon closer inspection of this vehicle the member who was investigating observed marijuana plants and marijuana grow equipment inside the vehicle. The plants were subsequently seized, we had 240 marijuana plants seized.”
Lamb says the vehicle, a Dodge Ram Pickup, was towed and RCMP continue to investigate the possibility of charges.
There were four people in the vehicle in total and he says the injuries were not considered life-threatening.
