There was a fatal collision on Highway 97 just south of Lac La Hache yesterday (Nov 28) morning.
100 Mile House Fire Rescue Chief Roger Hollander confirms that there was one person killed in each vehicle and that they were the sole occupants.
He says he is not sure when the highway re-opened but that it was closed for most of the day.
Hollander says RCMP continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
He says they have already responded to two accidents today. (Nov 29)
Hollander confirms that there was a rear ender on the 103 Mile Hill and also a rollover on Canim Hendrix Lake Road.
He says fortunately there were only minor injuries in those accidents.
