100 Mile House RCMP is investigating a number of fuel thefts from businesses in the area.
The latest incident involved the theft of some diesel overnight last Tuesday.
Police say thieves were able to gain entry into the unlocked diesel fuel tank on a large piece of equipment.
RCMP are asking residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious persons or vehicles that they see near industrial businesses after normal hours of operation.
They also remind all business owners to secure access to their properties and their equipment fuel tanks as well as install video surveillance cameras if possible.
