Quesnel Hosts Midget Hockey Tournament

There was a dramatic finish to an 8-team Midget House hockey tournament in Quesnel on Sunday.

Trailing 5-2 after two periods, Kamloops came roaring back to upset Mackenzie 6-5 in the Championship game.

The winning goal was scored with just 8 seconds remaining.

West Fraser from Quesnel was the top local team.

They doubled up on Lilloet 4-2 to take third place.

Their only loss in the tournament was to Kamloops.

Integris Credit knocked off Smithers for 5th and Cariboo Ford got the better of Remax/Quesnel Realty for 7th place.
