Grewal Throws Support Behind Doherty for Conservative Nomination

TJ Grewal has announced that he will be throwing his support behind Todd Doherty in the race for the Conservative nomination in the Cariboo-Prince George riding.

Grewal was disqualified from the race last month on a technicality with his membership.

The former front-runner says he picked Doherty because he believes Todd will stay put and represent the region instead of packing up for Ottawa.

Grewal says that his Indo-Canadian supporters had pegged Doherty as the clear second choice.

The names of Todd Doherty, Nick Fedorkiw and Sharri Green will all appear on the ballot when Party members in Quesnel and Williams Lake vote on Dec. 12.
