Replica Handgun Leads To Arrest In South Cariboo

A 16-year old male was arrested over the long weekend after 100 Mile House RCMP responded to a weapons complaint.

Corporal Brian Lamb says they were called to the 4000 block of Chuckwagon Trail in Forest Grove on Saturday…

“It was reported that three males had approached from a property to two other mails that were walking on the roadway at the time.
One of the males allegedly drew a handgun, pointed it at the two males, while making a threat.”

Lamb says members arrested a male without incident and located a replica handgun concealed on his person.

The suspect has since been released from custody on a promise to appear in court.
