Accused In 105 Mile Drug Bust Will Go To Trial

Three men, charged in connection with a large drug bust in the South Cariboo, have been ordered to stand trial.

That was the result of a Preliminary Inquiry that wrapped in 100 Mile House on Friday (Nov 4) for Richard Poudrier, Ryan Delorme and Shawn Perkins.

A trial date will be set on December 13th.

They are facing charges of Production of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking.

Poudrier is also facing firearm related charges.

100 Mile House RCMP say they executed a search warrant at a residence on Abel Lake Road near 105 Mile back in June of 2015.

Police say they seized between one and two million dollars worth of dried marijuana and marijuana plants as well as several firearms and more than 7 thousand dollars in cash.
