Thieves make off with $15,000 worth of goods

Major thievery was taking place in Hundred Mile during the overnight hours of April 7th and 8th.

RCMP say two businesses in the ‘Industrial Area’ of town were broken into and robbed of nearly $15,000 of copper and tools.

The larger portion of that sum was from a plumbing supply store, and the rest from an electrical supply shop.

Mounties believe an audible alarm from the second business scared off the suspects.

RCMP say the investigation into these break and enters is continuing and anyone with information is asked to call them or Crimestoppers.
