100 Mile House Business Walks all set for next week

A brand new “Business walks” initiative is set to take place in the district of 100 Mile House.

The district will be joining forces with the South Cariboo Chamber of commerce as well as the provincial ministry of jobs and walking around town on Wednesday October 19th to visit local businesses in an effort to strengthen the local business sector.

100 Mile House Mayor, Mitch Campsall let us know who will be visiting the businesses.

“There will be people from council, people from the chamber, and then there will be business people and again there is a whole ramp of other people involved with it but the biggest part will the chamber and the municipality.”

The majority of business surveys will take place in the downtown area and parts of horse lake road and HWY97 between 9am and Noon next Wednesday.

This event coincides with Small Business Month in BC and is anticipated to generate energy, excitement, and increased engagement between the community and business owners operating in the municipality.
