Williams Lake Business Walk

It is small business month in B.C. and the Williams Lake Chamber of Commerce is undertaking something new to celebrate and to get a better understanding of the city’s business needs and how small business operators feel about the community and what the chamber might be able to do to aid small business.

Claudia Blair, Executive Director of the chamber says they are very excited about the Chambers first ever business walk, ” it’s the business walk, our first annual. We actually hope to more than one a year, perhaps two, but as it’s our first time, our pilot, we are going to see how it goes. We’re really excited because it’s small business month as you know.”

The chamber has received support and co-operation of the BIA, Community Futures Cariboo-Chilcotin and the City of Williams Lake.
The walk will take place Oct 28th from 9AM-Noon with teams of 2 going to the businesses in the downtown core and along Highway 97.
