Quesnel RCMP have released some details in connection with a serious accident on Sunday (Oct 2) afternoon.
Sargeant Darren Dodge confirms that they were called to a collision between a motorcyle and a car on Highway 97 near Quesnel-Hydraulic Road just before 3-30.
He says their investigation revealed that a newer car was turning left in front of an oncoming motorcyle and that the motorcyle then struck the car.
Dodge says the driver of the motorcyle, a male from Quesnel, was taken to hospital in Prince George with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
He says the driver of the car was from Surrey and was not injured in the accident.
An investigation continues.
