Quesnel Runners Do Well In Vanderhoof

Quesnel runners finished one-two for Juvenile girls at a cross country running race in Vanderhoof on Saturday.

Hannah Vaughn crossed the finish line first, about 45 seconds faster than Jett McCall in second.

Both are students at Quesnel Junior School.

Megan Strand, also from QJS, was the runner-up for Bantam Girls.

Correlieu athletes also did well.

Bazil Spencer was 2nd out of the Junior Boys and Aleesha Bautista was the runner-up for Junior Girls.

And Dane Jacobsen and Olivia Moody also made the podium in third for the Senior Boys and Senior Girls respectively.
