The Alzheimer Society of BC has expanded their First Link Dementia support into communities in the Central Interior region including Williams Lake.
Provincial Coordinator for Support and Education Services for the Alzheimer Society, Terra Hildebrand explains what this service provides.
“First Link is a Dementia support which connects families and people with Dementia and their care partners to support services. It also connects them to education and any information at any stage of the journey”.
Hildebrand also said the expansion of First Link will enable the society to deliver these much needed services earlier and more effectively to families in the Central Interior.
