A shop along the Barkerville Highway was destroyed by fire on Friday afternoon.
Barlow Creek Fire Chief Cody Dillabough says they received a call at around 2-30 p.m.
“When we arrived it was already fully involved. We protected the exposures and performed a quick knockdown of the structure and extinguished it.”
Dillabough says it was an approximately 24 by 24 shop.

He says there were no injuries as the building was unoccupied at the time.
The Quesnel and 10-Mile Lake Fire Departments provided mutual aid.
