Preliminary Students Numbers Have Been Released In Quesnel

The Quesnel School District has released some preliminary enrollment numbers for the new school year.

Superintendent Sue-Ellen Miller goes over some of the numbers…

“So far we have the totals from students in secondary and elementary. And we have 3.062 students and that is actually around 100 more than we projected.”

Miller cautions however that this year’s numbers could still change…

“Certainly we haven’t finished counting students in our distance learning program and we also have to look at the numbers in adult learners, so continuing education, and so those numbers do change.”

Final numbers have to be into the Education Ministry by September 30th.
