Quesnel Fall Fair On Deck

The 32nd annual Quesnel Fall Fair is set to take place at Alex Fraser Park this weekend.

It all starts tomorrow (Sept 10) from 9am until 5pm and then again on Sunday from 9 til 4.

Lisa Larsen, the President of the Quesnel Fall Fair, says they will have pig races, weiner dog races and duck races as well as a light horse show and a gymkhana.

Larsen says they also have a fir and feather show this year with lots of bunnies,chickens and exotic birds.

Even lamas and donkeys will be on display.

‘Roos game to still go on despite afternoon fire at West Fraser Centre

Truck fire the cause of grassland fire near 100 Mile House ice rink

A truck caught fire on Wrangler Way in 100 Mile House, that spread onto the nearby grass, creating a wildland fire. 100 Mile House Fire Department was able to contain the blaze quickly, and report no one was injured.
