Extremely Rare Trophy For Quesnel Drag Racer

Best friends from Quesnel went head to head at a National junior drag racing event in Mission over the long weekend.

Kelsey Lefebvre and Shelby Dawson made it all the way to the finals winning 7 races each.

Shelby got off to a near perfect start but it was Lefebvre who won in the end.

Kelsey Lefebvre will now go to Seattle in January for the National Hot Rod Association’s banquet to receive an extremely rare award called a Wally.

It is a trophy that some racers don’t receive in an entire career for winning an NHRA National race.
