New Ferry Service to serve central coast

A joint announcement today from the province, B.C. Ferries, coastal native bands and aboriginal tourism.

Today’s announcement is expected to open up the central coast to more tourists by 2018…

“and that’s why the government of B.C. and B.C. Ferries are now committed to a new seasonal direct ferry service, direct ferry service between POrt Hardy and Bella Coola.”

Premier Christy Clark says B.C.’s coast is the prime location to discover costal aboriginal culture, saying there is no other place like it on the planet .

In making today’s announcement, the premier gave Donna Barnett, the MLA for the Cariboo-Chilcotin high praise for her never ending work for her constituents and the province .

Prescribed burn scheduled for patch of land within Williams Lake Community Forest
