The Board of Education officially received the resignation of Mark Thiessen, Superintendent of Schools at a meeting tuesday night.
Thiessen will be leaving the School District on august 31st.
In the meantime and effictive September 1st, Harj Manhas has been appointed as acting Superintendent.
Board Chair,Tanya Guenther, said of Thiessen, “we are very appreciative of all the work he’s done on behalf of the board during his years as Superintendent and his many years with the School District”.
