The Quesnel Volunteer Fire Department was called out to a fire on Abbott Drive, in behind the Mac’s Convenience Store, last night.
Fire Chief Sylvain Gauthier says the call came in at around 8-45.
“Once we showed up last night the older type motor home was parked right beside the residence at the corner. Fortunately upon arrival we were able to protect the residents and mainly the damage was the motor home, the inside of the motor home was totally destroyed by the fire.”
Gauthier says 23 firefighters responded to the alarm.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
