Cariboo Does Well In Alexis Creek

Cariboo competitors did well at the BC Rodeo Association’s Redstone Rodeo, hosted by the Alexis Creek First Nations.

Quesnel’s Steve Lloyd, a former Canadian Tie Down Roping champion, was first and 2nd for 491 dollars.

A 13 and 5 was his best time.

Rhoda Petal, from Alexis Creek, won the Breakaway Roping with a time of 2 and 8 for 410 dollars.

Mariah Mannering, from Quesnel, had the fastest time in the Ladies Barrel Racing for 371 dollars.

Ryan Hume, from Williams Lake, and his partner Ralph Myers from Hanceville, captured the Team Roping for 302 dollars each and Brianna Billy, from the Lake City, was first in the Junior Breakaway Roping.
