A Riske Creek cowboy continues to move up in the Canadian Pro Rodeo Tie Down Roping standings.

Vrigil Poffenroth is making a push for a trip to the Canadian Finals after a 1-2 split in Dawson Creek over the weekend.

A time of 9-flat earned Poffenroth more than 2-thousand 270 dollars, moving him into the top 15.

The top 12 will go to Edmonton in November.
