The Ministry of Forests, Lands, and Natural Resource Operations would like to inform the public that they will be closing two Forest Service Roads near 100 Mile House.
Ray Raatz, resource manager with the ministry gives us the details of which roads.
“We are closing two roads that leave the 83 mile cutoff road to Green Lake, and they are two old forest service roads that don’t need to be used anymore we’ve had ongoing maintenance issues and environmental concerns associated with them.”
Raatz says that these are not major routes and the area that these routes lead too can still be accessed via a different route off HWY 97.
The roads will be permanently closed beginning August.22nd/2016.
