The 100 Mile House Mural Society unveiled a brand new plaque yesterday afternoon to commemorate Joe Komori and the history of the Japanese Internment Camp at Taylor Lake.
Joe Komori himself was on hand at the ceremony; here he gives his thanks to the Mural Society.
Komori also had members of his family in attendance and they were given the opportunity to unveil the plaque for the first time to the public.
Dignitaries such as MLA Donna Barnett were on hand for the presentation of the plaque which now stands at the 100 Mile House Community Hall.
