Rain Was A Popular Weather Forecast In The Cariboo This Month

Environment Canada can confirm that July was a wet month in the Cariboo.

Meteorologist Lisa Coldwell says Quesnel has had 88.4 millimeters of rain so far, which is 135 percent of normal.

She says Williams Lake has had 69.2 millimeters of rain in July, which is at 131 percent of normal.

Coldwell says the weather has finally changed and she says a flat upper ridge is likely going to take us through the rest of the week before it gets a little more unsettled on the weekend.

She says we won’t likely see much, if any, rain however.
