A former Williams Lake City Councillor is suing the Williams Lake Central Business Improvement Area Board of Directors for wrongful dismissal.
Judy Albin, Judy O’Neill when she was on Council, worked for the WLCBIA for five years before she was fired in July of 2014.
Court documents allege that she was terminated by the new Board based on misinformation, gossip and innuendo.
Albin is seeking more than 25 thousand dollars in damages, 20 thousand for approximately 6 months wages and 5 thousand for defamation of character.
