The 40th Annual BC Elders Gathering this past week in Williams Lake made a big impression on everyone who attended it.
We asked Event Chair Cecil Grinder besides the positive comments he received all three days what else impressed him.
“The volunteers, the people who put it together really blew me away, how people could work together here locally. From our band like my co-chair Stan Stump Senior the one who initiated the whole thing and pushed me into it”.
The winning bid to hold the 41st BC Elders Gathering in 2017 from July 10th to 13th went to Campbell River.
