Reforestation Next On MLA’s List

The MLA for Cariboo North is pushing for a pilot project on reforestation for the Quesnel area.

Coralee Oakes says the province needs to do more.

“I flew over Kluskus and Nazko a few weeks ago and recognized whether there is forest fires or significant pine beetle stands we need to be investing in more reforestation, there needs to be more trees planted.”

Oakes says they need to be looking after our next generation in forestry and she plans to take that message to Victoria.
