100 Mile House Shines at Softball BC Provincial Championship

The “100 Mile N Hour” boys Softball team won the gold medal in the U16 rep division at the Softball BC Provincial Championships recently in North Surrey.

The tournament took place Canada long weekend with teams from all across BC coming together to compete.

The “100 mile N Hour” U14 boys also won a medal finishing 3rd in their division taking home the bronze.

Clearwater’s team took home the Gold in both the U14 and U19 divisions, while the Prince George Timberwolves took home the bronze in the U19 division.

Williams Lake RCMP arrest wanted man

RCMP arrested a wanted man who was a suspect in a violent break and enter that occurred last week. The man is being held in custody to appear before the court.
