A 42 year old man is dead following a single vehicle rollover on Hwy 20 Saturday morning.
RCMP Sergeant Mike Hacker with Cariboo-Chilcotin Traffic Services says they received the report of the incident near the Loran-C site west of Williams Lake at 4:36 am.
“Essentially it was a single vehicle rollover. Looks like the vehicle went off road right and down the embankment,rolled over a couple of times, and the deceased was ejected from the vehicle.”
Hacker says the victim was the lone occupant of the vehicle.
Some of the factors believed to have contributed to the fatal incident are speed, alcohol consumption, and the failure to wear a seat-belt.
