Atlantic Power Open House Tuesday

Atlantic Power is hosting an open house tomorrow in Williams Lake on their renewal project and an application to burn rail ties.

Community members, including Kim Herdman, who are opposed to the project say you can expect to see them in attendance.

“Unless something drastic comes up, but I should be there,” says Herdman, “and I want to present the petition that I have on change dot org.”

The open house runs from 4 pm until 8 in the Gibraltar Room.

Representatives from the Ministry of Environments, Atlantic Power, and Interior Health will be on hand to answer questions about the company’s draft permit, and their renewal project, as well as reviews related to the project.
